Sent Jun 27, 2016 -- GMO support project going live this Wednesday:

Our GMO campaign is about to go public. The Washington Post article will go live on Wednesday June 29th at 3pm. There will be a press conference Thursday June 30th 9:30 am at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C. If any of you might be able to join me at the conference, please let me know. Airfares and hotel accommodation can be covered, but ideally only one or two additional Laureates would be needed. The press may want to interview others so please let me know if you are agreeable to that.

There is now a web site http://supportprecisionagriculture.org that has a great deal of information about GMOs relevant to our campaign. There will be an opportunity for our scientific colleagues as well as the general public to express their support by signing on. It would be great if you can share the address of this web site with your colleagues but ONLY AFTER Wednesday. I am anxious to keep its location private until then so that Greenpeace and others wont get advance notice of its existence.

As of this writing we have 101 signatures of Nobel laureates on the letter.

Let me thank you profusely for your support. I really appreciate it and am hopeful that we might be able to make a difference after the recent release of reports by the US National Academy of Science and the UK Royal Society stressing the safety of GMOs.
